ControlForge: What It Is
An 80-second recap of what ControlForge is and what it means for industrial automation — a single Go binary that replaces the entire traditional PLC stack.
This video was recorded while the product was called GOPLC. The on-screen branding differs from the current name; the runtime is the same one.
A quick recap on what ControlForge is and what it means for industrial automation.
ControlForge is a software-defined PLC runtime written in Go. One binary. No proprietary hardware, no vendor lock-in, no programming software to install. It runs on anything from a Raspberry Pi to a datacenter server, speaks every major industrial protocol, and ships with a browser-based IDE for writing IEC 61131-3 Structured Text.
